OK -- We have the basic feel for the site...now we're on to the next stage of the design...establishing the structure and the rough content.

a few thoughts about web design in general...

In my world, no page is more than 3 clicks away. That usually means using a sub-menu on pages that go deeper and most commonly that will be on left hand side.

Most content should be viewable on the screen without scrolling. There are times when scrolling works - like when there is a long continuation of content broken up with illustrations or photographs - but new topics deserve their own page.

People very seldom read long passages on the web. Text should be short and to the point ( and not much wider than this is).

Navigation should be consistent and obvious.

All images should be optimized for quick loading (they aren't yet). The page layout jumps around a bit now - this will be corrected in the final version.

Now on to the child pages, content and flow.

Let's start with the child pages
